Hi there, lovelies -
I hope you all had a great weekend! John and I are spending the week on a Carolina Beach with our family and loving every second of it. My entire life, my family came to the beach the first week of June (always during my birthday) with 6 other families from our church. Each year, we all stayed in beach houses close to one another, enjoyed nightly dinners together, and laid on the beach together every single day. Growing up, each and every one of our favorite memories were made here in Ocean Lakes and I wouldn't take anything in the world for them. As all of the kids have gotten older and started making families of their own + venturing out on other vacations, the 'beach group' grew smaller and smaller. So for the past six years, we haven't all been to the beach together. BUT, this year we decided to continue to tradition and come back! We've only been at the beach for two days, but everything here reminds me SO much of my childhood. The friends we vacation with have always been closer to us than most of our family and we always have the best time. So anyway, I'm excited for a low key, no make up + messy hair week of relaxation!!
