Thank You Notes

Well, just that quick, it’s Hump Day again—It’s all down hill from here and hopefully smooth sailing! You know when you’re little and you thought it was amazing to receive mail? I would run to the mail box every day after school, usually to only find bills to pass off to my parents, but occasionally when something had MY name on it, I was ecstatic. That feeling never really left me! It’s so refreshing when going through bills and junk mail to see something personal. With technology running rapid these days, people forget to write a hand written note because they’ve already sent a quick email or text. When we receive an invitation or save the date, I literally cannot wait to run hang it on the fridge—and the same goes for a thank you note or card. It’s the little things that make you feel the best, when you know someone has taken the time out of their busy schedule to write you a card. Now let’s be honest, some people need a lesson on etiquette—at least book to read or something! Any time you receive a gift it is a must to send a thank you note, I mean it’s common courtesy and a no brainer. The same applies for when a friend invites you over or when you attend a formal invitation only event (excluding wedding ceremonies of course) according to Emily Post's Etiquette Book. Also, it’s fun to pick out cards to send that match your personality. Sometimes I can tell who the card is from before I even open it! My go to is (of course) a monogrammed card—it’s southern, classy and personalized. Here are a few super cute Note Cards and Thank You’s:
