TINY'S FIRST EASTER BASKET
Okay, okay so I know it's technically not her first Easter, but I've always been one to love a good themed holiday so I've waited for this moment for a long time! More or less, I just filled her little basket with a few fun things for her closet, but while shopping, I've seen so many cute toys + gift ideas for your little one that I'm linking below! The little basket I used for this year is a vintage moroccan basket from Elsie Green and is perfect to double as storage in her nursery. I added these gingham bloomers, this little crochet sweater, a bunny stuffy, a rabbit teether and a few fresh eggs from her chickies simply because they were so on-brand. :) I also just got this Peter Rabbit leather-bound book for her nursery that is so sweet + classic!Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays, right after July 4th because let's be honest, who doesn't love a holiday where you get to eat a hot dog on the water?! Anyway, it always felt like the official kick off to Spring - the weather warming up, flowers starting to bloom and wearing all white again. Ever since I was a little girl, Easter has always been a big deal for my family. We all got a new outfit, I put sponge rollers in our hair the night before (wow, just showed my age right there) and got all dressed up for church together to celebrate a risen Savior. A big brunch with my entire family and an Easter egg hunt to follow, it was always a holiday that gathered loved ones around our table and the start of a beautiful new season.I can't wait until next year when our little bèbè is officially here with us to celebrate Easter and we make memories together. Even though the world feels heavy right now with all that's going on around us, I know the best is yet to come.Scroll below for a few favorites I found while creating her Easter basket! Wishing you all a beautiful weekend at home - stay in, stay healthy! X.Meg[show_shopthepost_widget id="3968591"]
