EASY MATERNITY WEAR

Top: Free People {not maternity, but works well with out without the bump, wearing a size small} | Maternity Denim: DL1961 | Sandals: Hermes | Tote: Jenni Kayne | Hat: Janessa Leonè

As of this week, I'm 27 weeks pregnant and so far, this pair of denim is the only maternity thing I've purchased.  When I initially started to feel like my clothes were no longer fitting, I tried to be intentional about investing in pieces that would work well with or without the bump, to avoid purchasing things I would only wear for a few weeks.  Since the weather has been so lovely here in South Carolina, I've been able to get by with a few flowy dresses, but I was really missing my white denim for Spring + Summer.  If you knew me pre-pregnancy, you know I'm all about that #MEGRUNuniform (denim + a white top) so when I saw this eyelet blouse, I knew I had to invest in one piece that would allow me to switch things up a bit.  This top is so pretty for warm weather and the perfect creamy neutral.  If I was styling this without the bump, I would do a slight front-tuck to make the top blouse even more and look slouchy + oversized.  Either way, this look is on that's super easy to recreate and can be thrown on over and over!I hope you're all having a great week so far and staying sane.  I think this is week 7 of quarantine and I'm officially starting to go a little nuts.  As of yesterday, our governor just implemented another 2 weeks (at least) of a stay at home order, but I'm praying there's some light at the end of the tunnel here.  13 weeks left to go before bèbè arrives and counting down the days! Thanks so much for stopping by, X.MegP.S. - There's a Q + A on my instagram stories today, if you're looking for an answer you can't find here on the blog!
