GIFT GUIDE: FOR YOUR INNER CIRCLE
When it comes to what's on my list for my inner-circle, my best girlfriends, two things come to mind: little luxuries that mean something. From a ring you'll look down at each day and think about your sweet friendship to a bottle of champagne you'll pop together while sitting on the couch having endless conversation, these gifts should be thoughtful. It's the perfect time of year to get them a little something that's unique to them and your friendship. However, remember the season doesn't always have to be about gifts. Loving your friends well, showing up for them on a daily basis, calling to check-in, and making time for each other amongst all of our crazy schedules is what really matters at the end of the day. These ideas are just the cherry on top!COFFEE TABLE BOOK - It's no secret that I love a good book, but especially when someone takes the time to pick one out that's specific to you. For me, anything French, interiors, gardening, Farmhouse, fashion, my favorite cities, etc. may all seem a bit convoluted, but they're all things I truly love - and that's what matters. Each person's collection, or library of coffee table books, is unique to them and that's what makes them special. Write a note in the front cover and wrap it up beautifully - done and done! I love this "Pretty New York City' book and just purchased it for one of my girlfriends who loves NYC as much as I do!BATH OIL - A little luxury for the 'mama' best friend in your life who needs a little reminder to take some time for herself. Giftcards and date nights out are nice, but sometimes you just need a little R & R at home. This bath oil is divine and will make a normal, routine thing feel luxurious.CASHMERE SOCKS - I always like to think of gifts as something that you wouldn't typically purchase for yourself. To me, little luxuries such as cashmere socks are just that. They're something you'd love to have, cozy up in at home, or throw on with your favorite boots, but you just can't quite justify the price tag for yourself. I got these as a gift last year from a friend and they are SO good. Neutral, cozy, and luxe - what else do ya need?FRIENDSHIP RINGS - It may be a little 1996 of me, but I love a good set of matching jewelry. About a year ago, one of my best friends and I got matching necklaces and not only do I love putting mine on each day, but I love seeing her wear hers. It's a little reminder throughout the day of your friendship and especially if you don't live in the same place, makes you feel close + connected. It may sound cheesy, but it's true! I love this ring - it's unique and so classic. I'm snagging it for a couple of my girlfriends so that we all have the same one. Like the necklace, I'll wear it every day.COSMETIC CASES - For the girlfriend in your life that relies on you to update her things from the collage days! I recently gifted this set (I use them too each day and love them) to one of my best friends because she was still using her cosmetic bag from YEARS ago!! She tells me all the time that it's one of her favorite things I've ever gifted her because it's such a practical, every day thing. The bags are such amazing quality, can be personalized, and keep you organized. The gift that keeps on giving!VEUVE CLICQUOT - Need I say more? Anyone who knows me knows that I rarely show up anywhere without Veuve Clicquot in hand, but adding it to a gift for your best friend is a no-brainer. In this season of life, I'd trade a night out for a cozy night in on the couch with champagne in hand ANY day. It always makes me think of that scene in Sex and the City (the movie) where Samantha shows up to pack Carrie's house with champagne behind her back. She pulls out one bottle and they clap...she pulls out two and they scream. Enter Meg Run.PLANE TICKETS - Don't let this one scare you, plane tickets don't always have to cost a fortune! Last year, I surprised one of my best friends with tickets to a city she'd always want to visit and she was ecstatic. It was just for the two of us and I think the tickets were around $120 each. Obviously there are most costs involved than just the tickets, but there's nothing quite like getting out of town and making memories together. Away from chores + responsibilities, and distractions and just focused on having fun. It's a gift that is sure not to let your girlfriend down!FRAMED PHOTO - As I mentioned above, gifts don't always have to be extravagant or costly, they can also be sweet + sentimental. Sometimes just framing one of your favorite photos together is more meaningful than anything. One thing I want to incorporate more of in our home throughout 2020 are photos that mean something to us. Everything from trips we've taken to girls nights I'll never forget, there's nothing cozier than a table full of memories.Christmas is right around the corner and today wraps the end of my GIFT GUIDE series! I hope each category was helpful to you in some way, big or small. Next week, I'll be sharing what's on my Christmas list and before you know it - it'll be Christmas Eve! I hope you're all having a great week so far and as always, thanks so much for stopping by!X.Meg[show_shopthepost_widget id="3849197"]
