GIFT GUIDE: FOR THE HOSTESS

It's officially that time of year of year again and I'm so excited about it!  In previous years, I've thought the Christmas music was playing a little too early or Thanksgiving felt like it was being overlooked, but this year - I'm here for it.  Between the weather cooling down and the time flying by, I'm really excited for the holidays!  That said, I'm feeling pretty prepared this year when it comes to Christmas shopping and finally getting that head start I always hope for.  That said, here is my first official gift guide of the year!  Starting with the best, and my personal favorite, gifts for the hostess in your life.  We love to entertain so little luxuries for the home are always my favorite.  I've rounded up 12 items, from big to small, that are perfect for hostess gifts or the entertainer in your life!LINEN NAPKINS // A simple gift that will get a lot of use - and we love the 'lived in' linen look.  Wrap around a bottle of vino with a pretty ribbon or tie a piece of rosemary to the front for a little something extra.MATCH STRIKER // I just got one of these and I love it!  So cozy sitting beside your favorite candle - see below for a great holiday option.HOLIDAY CANDLE + WICK TRIMMER // Forest + Fir - even the name sounds lovely.  I just ordered one of these for a gift and it's so good.  Add the wick trimmer to a gift and you have the perfect, little combination.COFFEE TABLE BOOK // Nothing better, in my opinion.  I've cultivated quite the collection and I love them.  Write a sweet note in the front cover and give them something to remember.CUTTING BOARD //  Perfect for decor and functional - it's a win + win.  As most of you know, I love the vintage boards in our kitchen, but this option from Farmhouse Pottery is so good.VINTAGE BELLS // Give them a little something to add to their Christmas decor.  Hang these bells on a wreath, on your french doors, or on the coffee table for decor.OIL BOTTLE // Funcational kitchen decor is always a win.  It's something that most people love, but don't typically buy themselves.CHAMPAGNE // A no-brainer - Veuve Clicquot is always a good idea.FARMHOUSE CROCK // Such a good piece to kick off a Farmhouse Pottery collection.  Perfect to use as a vase, store kitchen utensils in, or as a stand alone statement piece.  Such a classic!HAND SOAP // Something everyone can use - even if they have everything, they can always use hand soap!  Wrap in a tea towel and tie with ribbon or twine!COZY THROW // Literally you can't go wrong with this one!  You can never have too many cozy throws and this one has become my go-to for myself + gift giving.  A little more on the expensive side, but totally worth it!I hope you love these gift ideas and stay tuned for another #MEGRUN gift guide next week!XX.Meg
