PULLING OUT THE LEATHER
Tee: YSL {also love this + this} | Pants: Anine Bing {this year's version - obsessed, also have/love these!} | Handbag: Chanel | Shoes: Christian Louboutin {similar here} | Sunglasses: Gucci | Rings: Anine Bing + Mejuri | Necklace: Vintage Chanel
By now, most of you know that I pretty much live in either work out clothes or distressed denim and a tank, BUT, sometimes I like to switch it up for a fun girls night. I'm fully aware this outfit is full of investment pieces - it's not every day that I reach for the all of the most expensive pieces in my closet and create an outfit from them, but this one just seemed to pull together perfectly and I couldn't pass it up. Actually, to be completely honest, I wanted these leggings so badly for months and couldn't quite pull the trigger, but waited for them to go on sale earlier this year and snagged them for a third of the cost! (You all know that Anine Bing is one of my favorite designers and I've learned she has two-three major sales a year. Most pieces I can easily justify because I wear them so often, but some of the more trendy pieces or leathers, I'll wait on. I'll be sure to keep you posted on when the next one is!!) I've been waiting for months to pull them out and a seventy-something degree night was about as good as it's gettin' here in the south for a while!
Whether you go the high-end, investment piece route or not, this look is so easy to recreate. I wear leggings constantly in the cooler months - chic tees, transition to light layers, transition to chunky sweaters. In my opinion, you need three BLACK pairs - one light-weight pair (mine have stirrups and I loooove them), one fleece-lined pair, and one leather pair. Covers all your basis, but I must say, the leather is just so freaking chic - I love it!
I hope you all had a great weekend! As I'm sure you saw on instagram stories, we were coupon' it again all weekend trying to finish it before we get a few days of bad weather. Actually, as we speak - J and his dad are out there going strong. I sorta kinda definitely made this whole coop idea come to life and I'm pretty sure they're out there wishing they never agreed to this madness. Haha, BUT we are going to have six HAPPY chicks really soon!!
Thanks so much for stopping by, X.
