DATE NIGHT PLANS FOR FALL

It's my favorite time of year and the perfect season for cozy date nights!  Whether we're staying in or going out, J and I love Fall weather and are always intentional about taking full advantage of it.  With that said, I thought I would share a few of our favorite Fall date nights with you!
- BABY, LET'S STAY HOME.
The older I get, the more this kind of night means so much to me.  Put on a pot of chili or your favorite soup, open that bottle of red wine you've been holding onto, and turn the record player on as loud as it will go.  Sometimes a Friday night dance party in the kitchen with the windows open and the cool breeze blowing through the house is nothing short of absolute perfection.
- HAPPY HOUR TURNED DATE NIGHT
A lot of times, we love seeing our friends for date night, but also want to spend a little one-on-one time together.  To us, the best of both worlds is having a HH drink with friends (in or out) and then heading to a late dinner just the two of us.  Two birds, one stone.
- SET UP CAMP SOMEWHERE NEW.
No, I don't mean actual camping because I would never do that (no, seriously), but sometimes just switching up your usual plans can turn into such a fun date night.  J and I often grab take out on our way home and sometimes it's fun to just throw a blanket in the car and take it to the park, rather than your living room in front of the TV.  In Greenville, we have a beautiful river downtown and we love to dine outside by the water on a cool night - even if it is take out.  Little things in life.
- GET OUTTA TOWN.
By far one of my favorites, but can take a little more planning than the others.  However, never underestimate the power of a good road trip!  There's something about changing your scenery for a few days and getting away from your day-to-day tasks that instantly reconnects you.  Charleston is always our home away from home and such an easy getaway spot for us, but we also love heading to the mountains this time of year.  Our anniversary is in October and for years, we used to always go to Nashville to celebrate.  It's one of our favorite cities, beautiful in the Fall, and totally fulfilled our hearts.  The last few years, we always planned something bigger + better (we thought) that was so fun, don't get me wrong, but this year -we're going back to our roots and celebrating in Nashville again.  Wherever you decide to get outta town - plan a couple of weekend trips this Fall.  I promise it will be so good for your souls!
- VINEYARD HOP.
A little north from Greenville, we have quite a few vineyards.  It's such a fun day date to head to the mountains and stop at our favorite vineyards.  Beautiful views, cool air, red wine, and a bomb cheese board - what could be better?  We love grabbing a few friends, all riding up together, and living our best lives with a day of no plans.
Whether it's at home, down the street, or in another city, there's just something about cooler weather that makes date night so magical.  What are your favorite Fall plans?
Thanks so much for stopping by, X.
