First things first - happy Friday, babes - 

Finally, we made it to the weekend!  The last few days have been so crazy and I'm really looking forward to a slow, restful weekend at home.  Surrounded by family to celebrate Easter and nursing my sweet Gibby back to health.

Anyway, I took these photos while I was in Naples a couple of weeks ago and one, it was the windiest shoot ever (in 6 years), but two, I didn't care.  I was so happy, soaking up the sunshine, listening to the waves crash, feeling the sand between my toes, simply feeling the moment - all of it.  Because everything was such complete perfection, I told the photographer who snapped these to leave me raw.  Unedited, unfiltered, and just like I was on that day.  My skin tone is uneven in most, the one thing I'm most insecure about (my scar) is so evident, my hair is a mess (what else is new), and my dress was flying up the entire time.  And the best part is - I could care less.  Raw, pure happiness - and that my friends, is what life is all about.
