I hope you all had a great week! This is probably one of my favorite outfits to date. I planned this look for the Veuve event we attended in LA last weekend and could not have been more in love with it. It was comfortable, cool, and chic all at the same time. I intended to shoot this look before the event, but we were rushing to get there. Then after - let's just say there was a lot of champagne involved and one thing led to another...needless to say, it didn't happen. :) So, I wore this look again for dinner in Charleston the next weekend!
If you read Wednesday's post, I talked about how silk tanks have become such a staple in my closet as of late and this one is no different. I love the jewel tone paired with the black and white stripes. Also, I've strayed a bit from my absolute favorite bralette (here) and this one has taken it's place! It's so comfortable, but has a bit more support than the other full-lace ones, which comes in handy when wearing outfits like this one. I was unsure what shoes to pair with this look and I've had my eye on these golden beauties for a while now. While we were in LA, and the day before the event, I stopped into the Anine Bing store and couldn't resist walking away with these in hand. I've already worn them so much and I can't wait to wear them around the holidays, too!
What are you guys up to this weekend? We're just so excited to be in town, so our weekend is looking a lot like cooking in, yard work, and a few projects we need to cross off the list at the cottage! Then, one of my best friends is coming into town on Sunday, so I'm excited for a little girl time next week!
