HOLIDAY SHIMMER

With Christmas dècor filling our home, gift guides in full swing, and holiday parties upon us, it seemed like the perfect time to pull out the shimmer + fur!  I love the pretty color and texture of this dress, but my favorite part has to be the deep v in the back.  It adds such a sophisticated look to an already fun dress!  I knew I wanted to pair it with a light-colored, fur coat that would compliment the gold shimmer and this one was perfect.  However, my favorite part of any look is always the accessories - this handbag is to. die. for.  I always love looking for gently used, vintage handbags on Vestiairecollective.com.  They're always in such amazing condition, sold with all of the packaging (which you know makes my OCD heart happy), and the authenticity card.  I'm almost to the point where I love vintage pieces more than I do new ones!  They just have so much character and really are one of a kind.

I hope you're all having a great week so far and survived election day!  I chose to make today's post about something exciting - like the holidays - instead of continuing to talk about the banter that's gone on for the past year.  If you're anything like me, you're just glad it's over!  Now, we can focus on the most magical time of the year and all of the things that make the holidays so special.  Maybe we'll just need an extra glass of wine or two to get there! :)
