WEEKEND ROUND UP | #LWD

Hi there, lovelies - 

I hope you all had a great, long weekend!  We spent ours relaxing at home before another crazy week starts.  Actually, to be perfectly honest, I'm so disappointed right now as I type this!  J and I worked so hard yesterday to create content for the week and took three really amazing posts.  Knowing that this week is going to be super busy for both of us, we put our heads together yesterday and knocked it out.  However, when we went to upload all of the photos last night, NONE of them were on the card like they were earlier in the day.  Sadly, we couldn't find any of the 400+ images on our camera or our memory card.  We literally researched all night on how to recover the missing photos or what could've possibly gone wrong and can't come up with anything other than the fact that it's an older memory card.  So. unbelievably. frustrating.  The shoots alone are quite the process between location, lighting, and time, but what goes into a shoot is a whole other process.  I put so much intentional effort into what I style on the blog each and every week, so having a technical error like this is extremely frustrating.  So anyway, I apologize if my content is a little spotty this week.  We are going to try our hardest to reshoot the looks sometime in the next two days, but I'm honestly just not sure if we can make it happen.  I'll be heading out for NYFW first thing Thursday morning, so things are a bit tight.  Anyway, I just wanted to fill you guys in on why today's post is a little rushed or different and appreciate you bearing with me!  (Also, if anyone has any info on what we can do to get these photos back, I would greatly appreciate it!  We already downloaded and paid for a recovery program that sadly, didn't work.)  Until then, here's a weekend recap!

{We went out to dinner Friday night to our favorite place, Halls, and I wore this dress that is currently on major sale!!  It was perfect for a casual night out, but dressy enough for a nice restaurant.  My denim jacket is HERE + my handbag is HERE.}

 {Saturday started off beautifully when THESE velvet pretties arrived on my doorstep!  Also, you guys asked for it and HERE is the best dupe I could find!}

 {Next up, we had a pretty low key Sunday, which I love. We enjoyed a super yummy lunch, and then binge watched TV all day until it was time for church + dinner with our family.  I wore my favorite gray sweater + my new flares for a chic, yet cozy night out.  My handbag is HERE + my new favorite sunnies are HERE.}

{And last, but not least, Labor Day!  We woke up super early to head downtown for a few photoshoots.  Which, as you can tell from above, didn't end up working out in our favor.  Did I mention how frustrating that is?! Anyway, after getting work done, we headed to the pool with our friends.  I wore this (also here) super cute swimsuit for a neutral, super chic look.  We popped a couple bottles of our favorite rosè and had the most amazing day!  You can see more on snapchat, @meganrunionmcr.  I also love THIS, THIS, THIS, and THIS swimsuit!}
