Hi there, lovelies -
I hope you all had a great weekend! We actually ended up staying in town and bailing on our Charleston weekend last minute. Like I mentioned in Thursday's post, I love, love, LOVE traveling, but I also love being a homebody some days. There's no place more comfortable, more quaint, or that exudes more love than our home and sometimes I just want to sit in it. Literally. We spent Saturday morning at home - cooking breakfast, watching a movie, and spending time with our sweet pups. Then, we went for a long walk before cooking dinner with my family that evening. Family days are healing for me. Whether it be just me and J, along with our pups, or my extended family, spending time with them is just good for my soul. Then, we spent Sunday with my cousin and his wife - church, brunch, and 9 holes of golf. (Which if you saw my snapchat was quite the experience! I'm pretty sure I got a hole-in-27 at one point...) I took golf lessons a few years ago when I worked for a country club and absolutely loved it, but like anything, when it's not something you do often, you just aren't so good at it. :/ But, if you know me at all, you know I live my best life on a golf cart, so I was completely entertained. :) Anyway, all of that to say, our planned weekend getaway ended up being a family-filled stay-cation and I loved every second of it.
I wore this look while in NYC for Fashion Week and fell in love with this combination! The cut-out top is a little on the sexier side, but because of that, it paired so well with the high-waisted, blush culottes. (I also wore the top HERE!) Also, can we talk about how perfect these Louboutins are?! I desperately needed a new black pump and knew I wanted something super classic. I'd never tried on or owned the 'Decollette' style before, but loved the sleek look of them and they turned out to be SO perfect! They're actually not too bad to walk in (I think I wore them for almost 5 hours this day, which yes, that was a little majorly overboard, but at least I broke them in!) and such a closet staple! If you're looking to splurge a bit on a classic, black pump, I would definitely try this style!
Thanks so much for stopping by, xx.
