Hi there lovelies -
I hope you all had a great week while I was off the grid for a few days! Let me start by saying thank you all SO much for your sweet comments and kind words about our trip to Haiti. We had a really great, productive trip and left feeling even more grateful for everything we sometimes take for granted here in the states. We were able to love on so many kids, and more importantly, share the love of Jesus with them. It's such a hard, out of the norm week, but I have to admit - it was a really nice break FROM our norm. I feel like more times than not, we're so blinded by the luxuries of life + technology that we forget to take time out of our busy schedules to focus on what's really important. We were beyond hot and would've done anything for a little air conditioning, dirtier than I've probably ever been in my entire life, showering outdoors, and ate Haitian food daily. However, while you're there, those things just don't matter as much as you would think they do. You're feeling so many different emotions while simply taking in the people and their lifestyles, that all you feel is compassion and a need to help in any way possible. We can only hope that our time there makes somewhat of a difference in the long run of making Haiti a better place!
The minute we returned, we headed straight home to clean up and enjoy one last dinner {pizza - insert all the praise hands!} with our Haiti team before the trip officially came to an end. I threw on this casual look and absolutely love the simplicity of it. This top is so perfect for layering over a chic bralette or a swimsuit. I love the oversized armholes...actually I just love anything oversized!
Thanks so much for stopping by, xx.
