You guys. John and I are literally DEAD over all of the images by my super talented friend, Carrie from our weekend in Charleston! I purchased this dress a couple of weeks ago with no particular intention for wearing it, I just knew how much I loved it the moment I laid eye on it. Once I figured out I was going to spend a week in Charleston with J, I knew there was no better place than sunrise on the beach. Because J is almost always behind the camera, I thought it would be fun to bring along a photographer and have photos taken together! And oh my gosh, have you ever seen prettier light than this?! The sunrise was breathtaking in itself, but the way the light bounced off the water just literally made my whole life. The beach is by far John and I's favorite place to be, so we had the most fun while shooting. We had no intentions of getting in the water, but when it's this good, sometimes you just gotta go for it! This shoot is definitely one of my favorite's EVER and I'll cherish these photos of John and I for a lifetime.
I hope you all have a great weekend! McKenna and I drove back from Charleston late last night (J comes home today, after two weeks!!) and I'm excited for a little R & R for the next couple of days. There's a lot of sleeping in, brunch, happy hours, cooking at home, and hanging out with my sweet pups in my future! Cheers, babes!
