Freshen Up Your Space

Each year, once all of the Christmas decor is put away, I love freshening up our home with a few new odds and ends.  Whether it be a chic side table or simply throwing a couple of pillows on the couch, the smallest of changes can make your space feel fresh and new again.
If you follow along on instagram, you might have noticed that we spent most of Saturday cleaning out, organizing and painting our guest room.  For some reason, that's the one room that we haven't put a ton of effort into over the past 6 years of living in our home.  It's always been a cute space, but more of a "leftovers" room, rather than focusing on it being warm & cozy like the rest of the house.  So as we're tackling our renovations room by room, it seemed like the perfect time to update and redecorate.  This lampthese pillows and this side table are all part of the new decor that I've purchased and I can't wait for it to all arrive!  In my opinion, there's nothing more important than your guests feeling at home and comfortable - and, I have to admit, I love adding another cozy room to our home.  Five rooms down, 2 to go!
P.S. - Another thing I've updated since the new year is from silver to gold flatware.  Since we've been married for 6 years, I was ready for something new and absolutely LOVE the gold!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you're all having a great week! xx.
