Hi there, lovelies - 

I hope you're all having a great week so far!  Typically, skulls and crossbones are totally not my thing, however, when it comes to Alexander McQueen I can make an exception.  I've loved this scarf for a long time, but always thought it was a little too 'edgy' for me to actually wear.  Let's be serious, it's quite the change from blush pink and pearls.  :)  Which is exactly why I wanted to pair it with these Dior pearl earrings + an off the shoulder top to make the look more feminine.  I ended up loving the result and switching things up a bit.  Next, I plan to pair this scarf with a boyfriend blazer and black cami for a super chic, black on black look.

Well, if you need me, I'll be packing for the entire rest of the day!  But seriously, we're only going to Chicago for a few days, but packing all of these layers seems like we have so much stuff!!  I really wanted to be one of those people that could only take a carry on for a weekend getaway, but with all of these jackets, scarves and layers, there's just no way.  We'll be doing good if we can get away with only checking one bag and packing together!  Be sure to follow along on snapchat {@meganrunionmcr} during our trip!
