Over the weekend, we took a little road trip to North Carolina to see some of our family and have a little early Christmas celebration.  Although quite chilly, it was the most beautiful day and perfect for horse riding.  I'm definitely not the pro that J and his family are, but it was so much fun!  We got to ride on and around the mountain where J and his family used to live and where he and his dad built their barn about 15 years ago.  After a full day of riding, catching up with old friends and family, we spent the evening in this quaint little cabin in the woods.  It was so charming - full of fireplaces, Christmas decor and cozy throws.  Definitely the perfect weekend getaway, full of so much laughter, family and love!

It's officially the week of Christmas and I couldn't be more excited!  I only have TWO more presents to buy and I'm officially done!!  What about you guys?  Only 3 more sleeps tip Santa comes!
