A Casual #LBD + Blanket Scarf

I loooove a casual swing dress and this button front, v-neck #LBD is so perfect for transitioning into Fall.  You all know how I constantly gravitate towards neutrals, so pairing the plaid scarf + color blocked flats was a no-brainer.  This is actually the first time I've worn my new Chanel flats on the blog, and let me tell you - obsessed is an understatement.  I picked these out while in NYC for Fashion Week and absolutely love them with every bone in my body.  While we were in Nashville, it was really overcast and rainy for most of the trip which made for chilly winds and cool mornings.  Cuddling up with a chic blanket scarf was perfect for roaming around and exploring the city.  This is definitely a look I'll be wearing over and over (and recreating) throughout the season!

I hope you all had a great weekend!  We had MAJOR rain here in SC with the hurricane passing through the coast and some of the state even flooded.  On Saturday, we literally did not leave the house!  I stayed curled up on the couch with the pups all day binging on Grey's Anatomy! (Obsessed is an understatement there, as well.)  Apparently we didn't watch it with the rest of the world when it started forever ago, but I'm on Season 8, so I'm almost caught up to real life!! :) Anyway, we are working on the house a little more this week and finally have a few new things arriving today so we're getting closer and closer to finishing out our new space!  (Follow along on snapchat, @meganruninmcr!)
