Hi there, lovelies!  With Fall quickly approaching, I wanted to share three looks with you today to help transition your closet from Summer to Fall.  My biggest tip when it comes to these awkward couple of months of not knowing what to wear: layering.  Being able to take off or add on to your look throughout the day is key to surviving the last few warm days and transitioning into those cooler nights.  Let's break these looks down a bit:

Outfit 1: Boyfriend Blazer + Grey Tank - such a easy, effortless look that can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion.  I love how a boyfriend blazer can make an otherwise simple outfit look so polished and put together.  This blazer is a must have for any closet, less than $100 and comes in over 5 colors!  The tank I'm layering with has quickly become one of my favorite go-to pieces in my closet.  I initially found this tank in the store and fell in love with how soft and silky it is!  I'm a sucker for anything that's comfortable + chic.  Once I got it home and styled it with this outfit, I bought it in 2 other colors!  They're so great to lounge around in, layer or simply wear alone.  I love the oversized look and v-neck front + back.  Now, onto the denim - I'm OBSESSED with a great pair of jeans.  Everything from the wash to the fit, having great denim in your closet is such a staple for building any outfit on.  I have fallen in love with this fit, called 'The Stiletto' and can't wear them enough!  Once you find a denim brand that fits you well, washes well and compliments your shape + figure - stick with it!  And last, but definitely not least, the accessories.  I love, love, love cognac accessories - especially for Fall!  I added pointy-toe heels and a horseshoe bag to add a little warmth to the color palette and love the outcome.  Accessories can make or break an outfit!

Outfit 2: White + Camel - anytime you're wanting to transition your look from Summer to Fall, incorporate white.  There's something so chic about an all white look, but pairing a faux-leather jacket on top in a warm color can completely change the entire look.  I love anything with an oversized lapel.  I just think it adds such an oversized, classic look to your layering pieces and gives you a very 'Olivia Pope chicness' about you.  Any Scandal fans out there?!  Also, the tank I layered with in this outfit is also one of my favorites!  Only $20 and such a complimenting fit + shape.  I own at least 5 of these and constantly gravitate toward them on a weekly basis.  Layering pieces are key!

Outfit 3: Suede Skirt + White Blouse - classic, classic, classic.  This look is PERFECT for transitioning into cooler weather.  The skirt is a warm color + suede (which is so classic Fall), but the mini makes it weather appropriate.  I paired it with a white blouse to keep the colors neutral and added a pop of print in my accessories.  In my opinion, leopard is a neutral and I love how it brings the two colors (camel + black) together.  The calf-hair shoes and suede skirt combination gives the look a luxurious feel, while the blouse is the staple piece in the look tying it all together.  Add a black bag and you're all set!  So many classic pieces in one outfit that won't break the bank!

My favorite things about all 3 of these looks is the fact that they are so interchangeable.  You can easily pair the white denim with the grey tank, the jeans with the white blouse, the skirt with a basic layering tank (messy and half tucked in!) and still get that end-of-summer/start-of-fall look simply by swapping out a few pieces!  That's the great thing about purchasing closet staples, they're perfect for any outfit!
