Save OR Splurge for Fall
While thinking about Fall must-haves, there are some items you want to splurge on and some items you want to save your hard-earned money on. Personally, I tend to gravitate towards the more expensive, yet staple accessories because they're classic pieces in my closet. However, sometimes the dupe version is so on point that it's hard to spend the extra money, simply for the name. When it comes to clothing, I'm more likely to purchase the $60 sweater, rather than the $300 sweater since I'll probably only be wearing it for a couple of seasons. Knowing when and what to save/splurge on is a huge step in building your wardrobe and something I struggled with for a long time. I try to live by the saying, buy less, choose well and really focus on investment pieces that are timeless. In my experience, keeping your trendy, seasonal purchases anywhere between $15-$100 is typically a pretty good rule to live by. I've rounded up a few of my favorite splurge/save items that are so exact, it's hard to tell which one is which! Sometimes I even prefer the save version over the splurge, depending on what it is. I love these distressed jeans and this ivory tote for Fall and already purchased some of these for my closet! Sometimes, it's so easy to accomplish that same high-end look without breaking the bank!
P.S. - If you're dying for a pair of Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots, this pair is ridiculously close for a third of the price!!
Thanks so much for stopping by, xx.
