Basic Weekend Style

My favorite weekend outfit by far, a comfortable tee + denim shorts!  And, if you haven't noticed, I'm absolutely obsessed with my Chloè Drew bag.  I love how a staple black bag can make even a tee + shorts look killer-chic.  I'm all about the basics, as of late!

I hope you all have a great weekend!  We're staying in Greenville this weekend and painting a couple of rooms in our home!  Just a little background - John and I bought our home 6 years ago this month and we were 21 and 20 years old!  We purchased it 3 months before we got married and spent that time ripping out the kitchen, renovating inside and out, painting, replacing windows, etc before moving in after the wedding.  Looking back, it was such a fun project for us to do together and we absolutely loved that time.  Fast forward a few years and we're ready to freshen things up and update our style a little bit!  Anyway, long story short, we've been redecorating room by room for the last few months and starting to purchase a few "grown up" pieces of furniture that I'm so excited about.  Out with the old and in with the...overpriced! {Gosh, I love Sex & the City} I've always loved home decor and although this process has been and will be just that, a process, I love every minute of it!  And J is the biggest help and loves it, too.  Well, love may be a bit of an exaggeration, but it's definitely something we do together and that part, we love.  Anyway, I'll be sharing more and more of our progress throughout the next few weeks/months, so stay tuned!
