If you follow me on snapchat {@meganrunionmcr}, you probably saw my ridiculous snaps from our quick trip to Charleston on Monday.  John and I always have the best time when we sneak off for little getaways and this time was no different.  J had a work dinner on Monday night to celebrate the opening of their new branches there, so we took off for a quick, overnight trip.  I've been looking for any excuse to wear my new dress and since the weather was so beautiful, it worked out perfectly.  I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this dress.  It's so perfect for date night and the pattern is fun + playful, but also a little fitted and sexy.  I knew I wanted to pull out all of the bright colors in the dress, so I did just that - hot pink shoes, turquoise earrings and a bright yellow clutch!

I hope you're all having a great week so far!  I'm packing up today and headed to Dallas for a long weekend and I'm so excited!  I've never been to Texas before, but always wanted to go, so I absolutely cannot wait.  The only downside - I have to be at the airport at 4AM tomorrow morning!!  I'm tired just thinking about it.  I'll be sure to post lots of photos and snapchats, so follow along + stay tuned!
