Happy Monday, lovelies! I hope you all had a great weekend. Ours was full of sleeping in, family time and a little Christmas shopping. My husband and I both had family in town for different reasons, so we decided to take a little break, late Saturday afternoon and watch one of my favorite holiday movies- The Family Stone. I looove Christmas movies and after watching, I was completely ready to decorate our house for Christmas! I resisted the urge (for a couple more weeks, anyways), but it was my favorite part of the weekend. We came home, changed into comfy clothes, lit a candle and curled up on the couch with our pups. That's what weekends are all about, right?! What were you guys up to?
I love a classic black-on-black outfit. In my opinion, it just screams chic. I bought this leather skirt about a month ago (and paired it with blush here) and I've been waiting for an opportunity to style it again. This turtleneck sweater seemed like the perfect match since it has these super chic, shoulder cut-outs. I'm a sucker for anything that's a little different, so I love that sexy, little detail. However, because of those cut-outs and since it was soo chilly here over the weekend, it was completely necessary to pull out my black coat to match the whole look I was going for. When all else fails, you can always layer black-on-black!
Thanks so much for stopping by, x.
