I hope you all had a lovely weekend! The hubs and I just got back from Nashville last night while celebrating our five year anniversary over the weekend. Let me just say, we had the BEST time! Nashville is such a beautiful, fun city. We stopped at the cutest little coffee spots, ate delicious food (while listening to live country music of course), explored the city, walked across the John Seigenthaler bridge that overlooks downtown + ended our last night with a trip to The Patterson House. I have to admit, one of my favorite parts about our weekend was driving through the beautiful mountains, to and from TN. The leaves + views were absolutely breathtaking. We rolled the windows down (with my heated seat on high, of course), turned on a little George Strait and took in the fresh mountain air. It was beyond perfect. Thank you for all of your sweet comments and well wishes for our anniversary, it meant so much to me!
Anyways, on to the fashion. If I had to choose an outfit to live in, it would totally be this one. As much as I love bright colors, I love basic black and shades of grey more. I picked up these pants from Nordstrom Rack during the opening event a couple of weeks ago and loved the color, brand + price tag, so it was a no brainer. I initially only brought this Everlane blouse to pair with them, but it was SO cold in Nashville this weekend. The wind was so chilly, so I picked up this wrap jacket from Anthropologie while we were there and it coincidentally matched perfectly. I was immediately obsessed with this jacket from the moment I laid eyes on it in the store and then even more so after wearing it. It's perfect to lounge around in, throw on for a casual night out or dress up. (I love it in ivory, too + the grey should be online soon.) Also, one last thing: this Rag & Bone hat is my new favorite accessory. I actually just bought the pecan color, too in the same exact style because I love it so much. It pairs so well with anything for fall + winter and is super convenient when having a bad hair day. All in all, this outfit is a combination of four-five basic pieces that I loved pairing together for a fun night out on the town!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a lovely day, x.
