Summertime is all about relaxing by the water, right? This Triangl Swimwear bikini is beyond chic. The style, the material, the color, it's all so perfect. Not to mention, how well it matches my The Beach People towel. I love the black + white, circular design, as well as the fun fringe around the edge. #matchmadeinheaven
I can't even begin to tell you how in love I am with these Maison du Soir, luxury pajamas. The beautiful, floral print is so feminine + 100% silk, which feels absolutely amazing. Since yesterday was national dog day, I thought it was only appropriate to snap a quick photo of my sweet Lola girl. To be honest, if we don't have evening plans during the week, I usually come straight home, run a bubble bath and immediately change into my pajamas. And to be even more honest, those are my favorite kind of nights. #familynightathome #inprettypajamasofcourse
I mean, let's get serious- is there anything in this world better than macarons? I have a major problem in that I can't get enough of them. I've sort of started this tradition where I swing by the market every Saturday and pick them up for a weekend treat and it is so not good for my waistline! But, sometimes, life is just all about the little things that make you super happy. And this is my little thing: decadent macarons. Also, I can't find this particular gold plate any where, because I found them at Marshalls a while ago, but these plates are similar and I just got a couple sets of them! I eluded to this a little bit on instagram, but after having a really long monday (are there ever short ones?) last week, I came home feeling a little overwhelmed and stressed out. As I mentioned above, keeping my usual routine and coming straight home, taking a bath, pouring a glass of wine and relaxing were definitely on the agenda. Anyways, the hubs didn't even know I was having that kind of day. It was just one of those crazy days where we hadn't had a lot of time to catch up throughout the course of the day and he just simply knew. He walked in the door, roses in hand, and that little bit of unplanned thoughtfulness completely turned my day around. I thought that was worth a little impromptu photoshoot. #soulmate #sothankfulformyblogsband
So, in the midst of trying to little by little transition my blog into a little more of a fashion AND lifestyle blog, I've been creating "lifestyle" type posts on Thursdays. (Well, trying to. Except today. #fail) Anyways, this adorable, little cupcake was one of the first things I wanted to try to bake and oh my gosh, were they good! Easy, however- not so much. I explained a little bit about the tideous repetition in the post, but to be completely honest, I could NOT do it alone! I had to get J to help me ice cheerios at 10pm that night! I'm loving all things cobalt blue for fall. When Baublebar surprised me with these beautiful statement earrings in my mailbox, I immediately had to pull out everything I owned that was somewhat in the cobalt family and make an outfit out of it. I definitely think this fun color is sticking around for a while, so rather than simply finding trendy pieces to rock, I'm splurging on a few things too. Sorry for the long post today! I was feeling a little extra chatty and apparently it came out in my photo descriptions. Sometimes it's nice to let you guys in a little more than the typical outfit, let's talk about fashion, blog post. Although that's what this blog is all about, I wouldn't be where I am today without the support and kind words of each one of you, so thank you so much for reading + following along every day.
