If I had to choose one thing to brighten my day, it would most definitely be fresh flowers.  I love having them around the house, on my desk at work and to tie up to take as hostess gifts to friends.  The only thing better than all of that - an entire field full of fresh flowers in the summertime. John and I love to take evening walks with our sweet pups and while out the other day, I spotted these beautiful sunflowers by a lake close to our home.  The sun beating down, fresh air and a lovely field of flowers all make for the perfect ending to any day!
