Finally, our first official home tour of @thelovelycottage and what better time than the holidays to share it with you!  Last year around this time, we had only been in our new home about 3 months, so we were still pretty scattered and unorganized.  This year, we are much more settled and we were so excited to add a little holiday touch to each room.

J and I both love neutrals and texture, so we really wanted to keep our decor simple, while also making a statement.  Throughout the entire house (inside and out) we mixed live greens, used natural decor such pinecones and dried hydrangeas from our back yard, as well as touches of gold + copper here and there.  As most of you know, we love vintage pieces and always gravitate towards them, so our (new to us) vintage dough bowl + board, woven tabacco baskets, and glass decanter were perfect additions to our decor.

From our home to yours – wishing you all a very, merry Christmas!  John and I are so thankful for each and every one of you, especially after Monday’s post – it was the sweetest reminder of the amazing community we’ve cultivated over the years and we’re so beyond grateful for your love + support.  We love you!

P.S. – Be sure to follow along with @thelovelycottage – we’re about to post our first holiday giveaway tonight and you don’t want to miss it!!

Your home is so beautiful! My husband and I just bought a "fixer upper" and will be using the Lovely Cottage for inspiration! Especially your beautiful fireplace!
