THE MAGIC IN CHARLOTTE TILBURY’S MAGIC CREAM / SKINCARE WITH NORDSTROM
I learned at a pretty young age that skincare can make all the difference in your skin. One product even, can make all the difference in your skin when used consistently and effectively. As most of you know, I’m a Nordstrom girl through and through – always have been, always will be. I’m also more of a skincare lover than even a beauty lover. Although I’m loyal to only a few tried and true brands, my skincare drawer is overflowing while my makeup bag is pretty minimal.
I was recently introduced to a new product – Charlotte’s Magic Cream after hearing a lot of hype surrounding the brand in general, but specifically this cream. I have very dry skin so a daily/nightly moisturizer is a must for me and this cream is so hydrating. It literally floods your skin with moisture, giving you a beautiful glow. Especially after a summer day spent in the sun, I want my skin to feel rejuvenated and moisturized before bed each night. After using this product for a week, I could already tell a difference in my skin. Two weeks later and there was no doubt about it, the ‘magic’ that everyone raved about truly that – pure magic.
Here’s what it does: it contains Charlotte Tilbury’s secret mix of patented, anti-aging, hydrating and youth-promoting ingredients that lift and transform tired skin in an instant. This moisturizer fights the aging process on all fronts, stimulating collagen production and cell energy while fighting free radicals to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Skin is penetrated with hydration and elasticity is restored, smoothing the surface and promoting healthy cell renewal. It’s ideal for anyone with tired, thirsty or lackluster skin.
Here’s what I’ve been pairing it with each night/a few of my other skincare favorites:
Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm – removes my make up and cleanses my skin without any harsh rubbing or wiping. This product smells amazing and literally melts off my make up. It leaves my skin clean with a hydrated, balmy feel, rather than dry and irritated.
La Mer The Renewal Oil – this product has been on my skincare rotation for a couple of years now and nothing beats it. I use it over the Charlotte Tilbury magic cream and only apply a pea sized amount to my entire face and neck. My skin soaks it up and it leaves me with a dewy glow that I love.
La Mer The Lifting Eye Serum – if there’s one thing about skincare that my mom engrained into my brain, it’s that it’s never too early to start using an eye cream. This is the final product in my skincare routine each night and I usually give it 10-15 minutes to fully soak in/dry before I curl up in my pillow. I use this serum from lid to brow and underneath my eyes, as well. It feels like silk when applying and leaves the most sensitive area of your face hydrated and uplifted.
The older I get, the more I find myself shifting from the investments of material things to products that will make an overall difference in my skin and health. For me, skincare is just that. It’s taking a few minutes a day now and focusing on something that my 65 year-old self will thank me for later. There are so many amazing serums, eye creams, cleansers, etc out there that are amazing – use what works best for your skin + budget. But let me tell you, if you invest in one product this summer that will change your skin – grab the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream!
If you need me, I’ll be slathering on my skincare twice a day, everyday, trying to keep the dark circles of newborn life away!! Haha, I’ll take all the MAGIC I can get, Charlotte – bring it on!
Thanks so much for stopping by, XX.
Thank you to Nordstrom for partnering on this post. All opinions are my own.
Wanna say something…I love the magic cream as well. My face doesn’t produce any oils ever. Sometimes I mix one or two drops of Paula’s Choice booster moisture renewal oil to it when I am going to wear makeup so I get the perfect amount of slip.
