Hi there, lovelies –
I hope you all had a great Valentine’s weekend! We spent most of the day on Saturday cleaning & picking up our house in preparation for our friends coming over for dinner to celebrate VDay! John cooked dinner for everyone and it was absolutely amazing!!
If you follow me on snapchat (@meganrunionmcr), you might have seen that J surprised me with modifying my wedding ring by adding a diamond halo to it. When we initially got engaged, I was 19, and I knew that ALL I wanted was a beautiful, solitaire diamond. J wanted to choose something much more antique or intricate, but he caught on to my subtle hints and got me exactly what I’d been dreaming of. I am SO (like ridiculously) sentimental about stuff like that. For the last 7 years, I haven’t wanted to change it one bit. I love the ring we started with for so many reasons, but mostly because of the memories that come along with it. All of my girlfriends never quite understood why I didn’t want anything added to it (they were like hello?! the more diamonds the better!!), but I was beyond content. Meanwhile, after about 6 months of J trying to talk me into modifying it, he found a way to use my diamond (of course) and even my band. So after that, I agreed to let him change it a bit and absolutely LOVE what he designed. It’s so, so beautiful and beyond what I could’ve imagined. As much as I love my original ring, I love even more that he used that to create something so beautiful and special!
In other (not so sappy) news, it’s FREEZING outside!! (It’s literally snowing as I type this!) So, rather than braving the cold over the weekend, we decided to stay in with a cup of coffee! I love, love, love the color of this sweater and the oversized fit. Free People sweaters are by far my favorite and SO cozy!
I hope you all have a great week and thanks SO much for stopping by! xx.
Your ring looks gorgeous! Sounds like such a fun weekend:) Thanks for the tip on FP sweaters, I'll have to try them!

That is so sweet, your man def. has a great taste and knows his woman well too! 🙂 Cozy weekends at home, spent with the close family members and or/ having friends come over and diner together are some of my favorite ways how to spend a perfect days off! 🙂
