I hope you all had a great weekend!  J and I snapped these photos one day last week in celebration of Gibson’s (our great dane) first birthday.  Any excuse for a photo shoot, right?  Hey, when you don’t have kids, you spend your lunch break running to the party store to grab a birthday hat…for your dog.  We know, we know, we’re a little obsessed with them.  But seriously, how cute is he?
I love the sheer feel of this maxi, not to mention the colorblock trend.  I’ve always been a fan of cool, creamy colors, but lately I’ve found my self gravitating towards pastels more and more.  Especially with Spring right around the corner, it’s the perfect time of year to wear them.  One thing that I’m currently looking for is a powder blue top, so if you know of a great one, feel free to leave a comment below!

I love this dress! And I'm so jealous that you live in a warm enough area to wear it. Here in Boston it is still waaaaay to cold for any of that.
